Shopping centre and retail developer Atrium is to acquire a private rented sector development in Europe in a bid to diversify its portfolio.
It has entered into an agreement to acquire the controlling stake in a 900-home scheme in Warsaw.
The deal comes as the developer’s board undertakes a strategic review to expand in Europe, driving growth of core retail assets as well as diversification with new asset classes.
It is seeking to leverage its operating platform in Poland and the Czech Republic.
Atrium has reinstated its Q3 and Q4 dividends and will release its annual results on 26 February 2020.
