Auction House London sold 81% of the 78 lots offered at its latest auction, bringing in sales of £14.5m.
A three-bedroom flat in Shepherds Bush, W12, with 56 years left on its lease, sold for £525,000 against a £360,000 guide.
And a row of four garages in Sydenham, SE26, sold for £136,500 – more than three times its £40,000 guide.
Also snapped up was a development opportunity in Wimbledon, SW19. The detached three-bedroom house, which sold for £1.8m against a guide of £1.7m, has permission for a 5,500 sq ft, four-bedroom house with a games room, cinema, gym, spa and wine cellar.
The sales total was Auction House London’s lowest so far this year, but was nearly £5m higher than last September’s.
Director and auctioneer Andrew Binstock said that more than 400 people attended, leading to some “epic bidding wars”.
The auction took place on 9 September at Landmark London Hotel, NW1.
