Bailey moves to LSH
Eddisons auctioneer Simon Bailey has moved to Lambert Smith Hampton. As well as being an auctioneer, he will become a director. Prior to Eddisons he worked at JLL.
Relaunch for Austin Gray
Austin Gray has joined the Auction House group and relaunched as Auction House Sussex. Austin Gray auction manager Nick Muston said the move would help AHS to become the “go-to” auctioneer across East and West Sussex.
Eaton Square flat on offer
A leasehold 3,391 sq ft, six-bedroom flat in Eaton Square, SW1, is being offered with vacant possession by Auction House London, guided at £900,000-plus. The auction will be held on 23 February at the Landmark Hotel, NW1.
CP Bigwood changes hands
Birmingham-based CP Bigwood has been bought by property valuation and surveying firm Shepherd Direct, which also owns estate agency Century 21 UK. CP Bigwood chief executive Rory Daly, who will continue in his position, said the deal was a chance to expand the business.
Bids sought for Welsh chapel
A 4,000 sq ft former chapel in a Gothic revival style is being offered at Auction House North Wales’ next sale on 4 February at Bangor City Football Club. The chapel, in Colwyn Bay, offers a two-bedroom house at the back and a small courtyard to the front and is guided at £90,000.
