Auction House Hull hits 70%
Auction House Hull & East Yorkshire sold 70% of the 13 lots offered at its 17 August sale at Beverley Racecourse in Beverley, Yorkshire. The auction raised £878,500 from the nine lots sold on the day.
Savills to offer Notts nightclub
Savills and Fisher Hargreaves Proctor will offer 26-28 St James’s Street, Nottingham, at Savills’ regional auction at Nottingham Race Course on 1 September. The freehold bar/nightclub is guided at £475,000 to £500,000.
Allsop Ireland to offer 220 lots
Allsop Ireland has launched its largest catalogue to date, with more than 220 commercial and residential properties to be offered online on 13 September. The total reserve value is more than €33m (£28.3m).
Guide price rethink needed
Most investors think reserve prices should be at or below guide prices, according to an online survey of 126 respondents by Bamboo Auctions. Under 2014 Advertising Standards Authority rules, guide prices must be within 10% of reserves if a single figure is given.
Family treasure on offer
A house that has been in the same family since it was built in 1907 is to be offered by Cheffins on 28 September at Clifton House, Cambridge. The three-bedroom house is guided at £400,000 to £425,000, and the 0.7 acres of adjoining land is guided at £80,000 to £100,000.

Hopes of Wigton sold all of the five lots offered at its latest sale, which was held at Hopes Auction Co, Wigton, Cumbria. The 16 August auction raised just over £1.1m.
