Savills sells £360,000 garage

A garage in Chelsea, SW3, sold for £360,000 – double its guide price – at Savills’ 16 February sale at the London Marriott hotel, W1. Overall, the auction raised £65.9m, with an 83% success rate.


Balham neighbours on offer

Two neighbouring freehold houses in Balham, SW12, each with a guide price of £1m, are being sold as two separate lots at the next Barnard Marcus sale. Each house has four bedrooms and a self-contained flat or studio. The sale is on 8 March at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2.


Phillip Arnold hits 75%

Phillip Arnold Auctions raised £4.3m with a 75% success rate at its first sale of the year. Some 16 lots were offered at the 17 February auction at Doubletree by Hilton, W5, of which eight sold in the room and three sold prior.


Brittany manor house offered

A 15th-century manor house in Brittany, France, is being auctioned by Wilsons Scotland, guided at £375,000. Set in five acres, it has five bedrooms, a pool and outbuildings, and generates €3,500 (£2,728) per week from holiday lets. The sale takes place on 3 March at the Dairy Auction Complex, Dalry, north Ayrshire.


Strettons raises £12.3m

Strettons sold 71% of lots at its latest auction on 9 February, raising £12.3m. Of 47 lots offered, six sold prior and 23 went to bidders in the room. The sale was held at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2.
