Major Liverpool resi plot sold

A plot of land close to Everton Park in Liverpool, with planning approval for 70 flats and 56 parking spaces, sold for an undisclosed sum prior to Sutton Kersh’s 3 November auction in the city.

Will M3 site Hook buyers?

A five-acre site next to junction 5 of the M3 motorway at Hook in Hampshire is among 174 lots being offered at Barnard Marcus’ next auction. The plot has development potential subject to planning permission and a guide price of £125,000-£150,000. The sale takes place on 14 November at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2.

Mixed success for Countrywide

Countrywide’s 3 November auction in Exeter, Devon, raised £1.8m, selling 13 out of 30 lots offered – a success rate of just 44% . However, at its 1 November auction in Sheffield, which also raised £1.8m, 16 out of 20 lots sold – an 80% success rate.

76 lots sold in Newcastle

The Agents Property Auction sale in Newcastle in October raised £4.9m with a success rate of 80%. Of 84 lots offered, 76 sold, including 33 conditional sales.

No takers for Croydon pub

A 3,200 sq ft former pub with parking in Croydon, south London, went unsold at Auction House London’s sale on 7 November. The last offer was £630,000 before bidding closed without reaching the reserve. The site on a residential road could be redeveloped subject to planning approval.
