ASR sale makes £12m
Andrew Scott Robertson raised just over £12m at its 4 November sale, selling 53 of its 65-lot catalogue – an 82% success rate. A vacant block of nine self-contained flats in Lewisham, SE13, sold on behalf of a housing association to a private investor for £1.6m, was the highest value lot sold.
AHL hits 95% success rate
Auction House London hit a success rate of 95% after post-auction sales for its most recent event. A total of £5.5m was raised at the sale at the in Haverstock Hill, NW3, with 38 lots offered and 36 sold. The sale was primarily residential, with strong demand in south London. Auction House chairman Robin Cripp said: “Things are heating up in Clapham and Battersea, and we are seeing this spilling over into other areas of South London, particularly in areas like Lambeth and Wandsworth.”
Strong land sales for Eddisons
Eddisons generated nearly £9m at its latest three-day auction, with 85% of 104 lots sold in Leeds, Manchester and London. Strong land sales included a 0.6-acre strip in Stoke which sold for £221,000 off a £75,000 guide.
