Hampstead garden on offer

The front garden of a terraced house in Hampstead, NW11, is being offered leasehold with no reserve price by Barnett Ross on 16 December at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, W1. The mostly lawned, hedged, garden may be subject to rights of way, and has 883 years left on the lease.

Auction House hits 87%

Auction House West Yorkshire sold 87% of 43 lots offered at its 2 December sale at Leeds United Football Club. Six lots sold prior and 31 sold in the room, raising £2.7m.

Allsop opens up manor house

A 17,000 sq ft manor house in Strood, Gloucestershire, the former family seat of the Marling Baronetcy, from which folk singer Laura Marling descends, is being offered at Allsop’s 17 December sale, guided at £750,000. Some 260 lots will be offered at the auction, which takes place at the Cumberland hotel, W1.

Turbine opportunity on offer

A 1.8-acre site near Carlisle, Cumbria with permission for a 170ft wind turbine is being offered at Eddisons’ 15 December sale at Le Meridien Piccadilly, W1, guided at £350,000 to £400,000.

McHugh & Co raises £15.3m

McHugh & Co raised £15.3m, with an 83% success rate, at its 2 December sale at the Montcalm Hotel, W1. A three-bedroom house in Kensington, W10, sold for £985,000, and a vacant house in Holloway, N7, converted into a flat and maisonette, sold for £1m.
