Auditor Grant Thornton has hired two founder members of Andersens Real Estate Consulting team to lead its new property advisory services division.
Kevin Hines and Andrew Freeth will become director and senior manager, respectively. The new operation aims to win work with property companies, occupiers and investors.
It will advise clients on how to maximise value and mitigate risks and liabilities from property.
The remaining members of the division of the scandal-hit accountancy firm are expected to be absorbed into Deloitte & Touche.
