Austrian proptech company Propster is entering the UK market following a €3m (£2.6m) funding round.
The company offers a cloud-based communication and document-sharing platform for residential and commercial property purchases. It was established in 2017 by chief executive Milan Zahradnik (pictured), who claims the software removes the need for almost three-quarters of face-to-face customer interactions.
The new funding round has been led by Austrian venture capital group aws Gründerfonds, Axeleo Capital of France and the UK’s Pi Labs and Realty Corporation. The company was one of five enrolled in Pi Labs’ eighth accelerator programme last year.
Having built a market base across Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Slovenia, the company is now turning its attention to the UK, with Clarion Housing among early clients. “If you want to build something international, London and the UK is the place to be. Everything opens up – the US and Asia,” said Zahradnik.
Zahradnik expects further international expansion and is negotiating with potential clients in Russia and Dubai.
