Tempus, in The Times, carries out an autopsy on Robert Tchenguiz’s failed bid for Mitchells & Butlers (M&B).
It says the main problem for Tchenguiz and his backers was that the pub company was not a wounded animal in need of resuscitation.
M&B is a company that has no obvious weaknesses, the newspaper says.
