
The cost of the average London home smashed through the £1,000‑per‑sq‑ft barrier last year. Increases in overall values were modest, indicative of the market slowing down, according to EG London Residential Research’s latest LOREMA report.
Growth within prime London was slow, with Westminster flatlining and Kensington and Chelsea seeing a modest increase of 3%. However, the City delivered a 11% increase in £-per-sq-ft values.
