Real estate advisor Avison Young has appointed James Porter to the new role of chief client officer.
Porter (pictured, second from left) was previously managing director of occupier solutions. He will be responsible for connecting all client-facing capabilities across Avison Young UK’s newly-established client function and ensuring that these capabilities are aligned with both the wider UK and global businesses.
Nick Walkley (pictured, left), principal and UK president at Avison Young, said: “The CCO post is a new and vital leadership role, ensuring that we build deeper and long-lasting partnerships with clients. The CCO will also collaborate and align with global Avison Young leaders and centres of excellence to deliver effective services, support multi-regional clients and develop best practices, including leadership of the sectoral model and its application in the UK business.”
