Avison Young has hired a trio of London office professionals from Colliers International to join its central London markets team.
James Walker, Dominic Amey and Stuart Commins will join Avison Young as principals in the summer. The three will work across the City of London, Midtown and the West End markets.
Walker was Colliers’ head of City agency and occupier advisory, while Commins was head of occupier advisory for the City. Both joined the agency from CBRE in 2017 when it set out to revamp its City transactional team under the leadership of Amey, who had been with Colliers since 2003 and was head of the City of London capital markets team.
Jason Sibthorpe, Avison Young’s principal and UK president, said: “Despite everything the pandemic and Brexit has thrown at our capital, London continues to hold an undeniable attraction for investors and occupiers alike. Strengthening our central London transactional team during this crucial phase of recovery and restructuring will allow us to further realise the potential of this world-class office market for our clients.”
