Jason Sibthorpe, Avison Young’s president and principal for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has left the firm, with a new role created to oversee the agency’s regional business.
Michał Ćwikliński, the firm’s principal and managing director for Poland, will be promoted to EMEA regional managing director, a new role in which he will work with country management teams across the region.
“Michał is a highly respected leader with a proven track record of team building and client development in the real estate industry,” said chief operating officer Martin Dockrill. “With his strategic experience and deep understanding of the EMEA market, he will play a crucial role in assisting in our expansion across this key region as we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients.”
Sibthorpe took on the EMEA presidency in mid-2022, before which he had run the UK for the firm. He declined to comment on his departure.
