Avison Young has relaunched its environmental services team, a move it says will set it apart from other agencies.
The firm has created an environmental, flood risk and drainage team to work across deal due diligence, planning, climate change resilience and risk assessment. The team described it as a “unique service offering”, adding that there are “very few commercial real estate practices operating a function of this kind in-house”.
The team will be led by David Hoppe, director for flood risk (pictured above, centre), with associate director Geraldine Horner heading up drainage consultancy. Director Catriona Woods (above, left) has joined from WSP to lead the environmental consultancy, alongside Thomas Vincent (above, right), also formerly of WSP, who takes on the role of senior environmental consultant.
Hoppe said: “With two new team members joining us, I’m very pleased to be relaunching the environmental, flood risk and drainage team, repositioning our offering to the market and expanding our range of services to support the diverse needs of our clients across the UK.
“We have ambitious plans for growth in both the short and the long term and we will be continuing to recruit top-tier talent to enable that.”
