Software company Altran Praxis has taken 17,000 sq ft of offices at Aviva Investors’ and Multi Developments’ SouthGate shopping centre in Bath.
The firm, which develops systems for transport, automotive and aerospace companies, has taken the space at St Lawrence Court, within the retail-led scheme.
The terms of the deal were undisclosed but quoting rents at the scheme are £21.50 per sq ft.
Simon Price, head of agency at Alder King, which acted for Aviva and Multi, said: “This is a very significant deal which keeps one of Bath’s major office occupiers in the city. There is very limited new Grade A accommodation in Bath as evidenced by the quick take-up of this space.”
