Aviva buys slice of BBC Television Centre

BBC-Television-City-frontage-CGI-THUMB.jpegAviva Investors has paid upwards of £60m – a 3.75% yield – for the first phase of Stanhope’s redevelopment of the former BBC Television Centre, W12.

The long leasehold interest in White City stage 6 was put up for sale last year for £55m. The 100,000 sq ft block has been newly refurbished and is now home to BBC Worldwide.

Stanhopebwill retain the freehold

DTZ and LSH advised Stanhope; JLL acted for Aviva.
