The Highways Agency has completed a deal for Guildford’s largest office letting in two years.
It has signed a 10-year reversionary lease for Aviva Investors’ 39,125 sq ft Bridge House, which it will use as its national headquarters.
Aviva Investors will refurbish the property and the Highways Agency will take up occupation in March 2015 at a rent of £27 per sq ft.
The Agency will relocate staff from Dorking to the new base.
Letting agent Lambert Smith Hampton said the deal is the largest office letting in Guildford for two years and the biggest town-centre letting for five years.
Knight Frank advised the tenant.
