Aviva Investors appoints transactions boss for European arm

Aviva Investors has appointed Grégoire Bailly-Salins as head of transactions for continental Europe to oversee its real estate acquisitions in the market.

Bailly-Salins joins after six years working at Union Investment, latterly as a senior investment manager operating between Paris and Hamburg.

He will be based in Paris in his new role, reporting to Daniel McHugh, managing director for real estate.

Bailly-Salins will primarily target properties in France, Germany, Spain, Benelux and the Nordic region.

McHugh said: “Grégoire’s appointment is reflective of the ambitions we have for real estate investment in continental Europe.”
