Aviva Investors has appointed AXA Real Estate’s John Osborn to be the lead manager of the £3bn Aviva Linked Property Fund.
Osborn will be reporting to Mike Luscombe, head of European retail funds, and will be based in the London office.
He is replacing Luscombe as the lead manager, who recently became lead manager of the Aviva Investors Property Trust.
At AXA Osborn was a senior fund manager for 15 years and responsible for the management of the AXA UK Long Lease Property Fund and two other mandates.
Luscombe said: “We are very pleased to welcome John to Aviva Investors. He brings with him a deep knowledge of the UK real estate landscape and strong record in fund management. This experience will stand him in good stead in managing this important fund and in taking an active role in the wider UK real estate business.”
