Aviva Investors has submitted proposals for the redevelopment of 130 Fenchurch Street, EC3, where it hopes to deliver a 34-storey office-led tower.
Under the proposals, the currently vacant building would be redeveloped to provide 31 storeys of commercial offices space, an exhibition space in the middle of the building and almost 4,000 sq ft of retail and hospitality space.
Dubbed Seed130, the exhibition space will showcase collaborative projects with poets, writers and scientists throughout the building’s vacancy during the planning process.
The plans, which will be delivered by Co-Re, also include proposals for pedestrian access between Cullum Street and Fen Court.
The plans add to Aviva’s existing office developments in the City, which include Knight Frank’s future office at One Liverpool Street, EC2, and 101 Moorgate, EC2, which together provide almost 250,000 sq ft of office and retail space.
