Aviva’s Rock and Roll buildings hit the big screen

Aviva Investors has agreed to let the Rock and Roll buildings to film studio operator Garden Campus.

The 62,000 sq ft former retail scheme in Park Royal, west London, will be turned into a film production complex.

Garden Campus has agreed a 15-year lease with a rent roll of £1m.

The site will house three film production stages of 23,000, 11,000 and 5,000 sq ft, with additional shooting space, workshops and office facilities expected to complete this quarter.

Alastair Wakefield, associate director for real estate at Aviva Investors, said: “A primary consideration for Garden Campus in selecting this site was the sustainability credentials we were able to offer. This development is a good example of our focus on decarbonising our portfolio, which in turn will reduce long-term risk for our investors.”
