Axa Real Estate Investment Managers has appointed Dietrich Heidtmann as global head of investor relations and capital markets. Heidtmann will replace current head of investor relations Antoine Jozan, who is retiring after 12 years with the company.
Prior to joining Axa Real Estate, Heidtmann was managing director, capital markets at Grosvenor, where he was responsible for investor relations and capital raising across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
Heidmann was previously with Morgan Stanley International, where he was managing director of private real estate capital markets.

Axa Real Estate has assets of €42bn (£33.2bn) under management as of the end of June 2010, and manages funds for 10 Axa insurance companies.
