AXA appoints Stainer

AXA-IM-Logo-THUMB.gifAXA Investment Managers – Real Assets has appointed Andrew J Stainer as head of northern Europe.

Stainer will oversee all transactions and business operations in the UK, Germany, Nordics, Switzerland and central and Eastern Europe in the newly created role.

The appointment marks the latest change to AXA’s European team after Nathalie Charles, pan-European development leader and head of southern Europe, added the Netherlands and Benelux to her remit.

Stainer joins from Australian boutique leadership development firm Carters Hill Group where he was a managing partner from 2010. He previously held positions at Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan.

Anne Kavanagh, global head of asset management and transactions at AXA IM – Real Assets, said: “Andrew brings with him a global perspective and deep expertise, having worked across a range of markets and industries.”
