Axa Eurozone tracker starts trading

AXA Investment Managers’ EasyETF EPRA Eurozone tracker has started trading.

It is a tracker on the range of real-estate indices established by the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA).

In January, Axa IM struck a deal with EPRA to use its indices for the tracker, which will trade on the Euronext exchange.

Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley have agreed to serve as official market makers and Merrill Lynch and Dutch investment bank Kempen & Co are participating in the fund.

Bruno Guiot, head of EasyETF development at AXA IM, said the launch of the tracker showed the maturity of the real-estate sector in Europe.

“The fund will undoubtedly help to fuel interest in this asset class, which has something to offer to both retail and institutional investors,” said Guiot.
