Axa Insurance has teamed up with British real estate company Hammerson to purchase and redevelop the 27,000 sq m former UAP headquarters in the Vendome district of Paris.
The scheme will involve revamping 10,000 sq m of the building into businesses, while a further 17,000 sq m will be transformed into offices. Hammerson will head the operation.
The premises is currently occupied by Axa Banque, Axa Credit, but the company will gradually move out once the sale begins this year.
