JLL is planning to relocate a number of back-office staff from Bristol, in the South West, to Norfolk in the East of England.
The agent wants to consolidate its property and asset management client accounts team in its Norwich branch, because it has greater capacity than the Bristol site and is less costly to run.
Around 50 employees are understood to be affected, including administrative workers and accountants, but not fee-earning staff.
A spokesman for JLL said: “The planned changes will enable the firm to provide a more efficient, streamlined service to clients and over the coming months we will work to ensure a seamless transition for any affected clients.
“We are fully committed to consulting with affected employees at every stage. Our focus is on relocation and looking for redeployment opportunities where possible.”
Consultations are under way and the process is expected to be completed by 1 May 2015.
