Bahrain-based bank Ahli United Bank is to develop a 130,000 sq ft mixed-use development at 7-15 Baker Street, W1, close to London & Regional’s redevelopment of 55 Baker Street. The Middle Eastern bank got the go-ahead for the Squire & Partners-designed scheme from Westminster council last week. Ahli is relocating to 35 Portman Square where it has taken 21,500 sq ft over three floors. It has signed a 20-year lease at £60 per sq ft. first. Ahil is advised by DTZ.
