Bailey leaves BNP PRE

Simon Bailey, the long-standing chief finance officer of King Sturge who helped seal its merger with JLL, has left BNP Paribas Real Estate less than a year after joining.

BNP PRE hired Bailey as chief operating officer in January of this year to help manage its expansion plans under chief executive John Slade.

However, the company confirmed today he has now left the business to “pursue other opportunities”.

In a statement released to EG a spokesman said: “We would like to thank him for his contribution to the company and wish him luck in the future. We are continuing to invest in our UK business and hope to announce a successor shortly.”
