Pressure will remain on Balfour Beatty, despite its rejection of a £1 billion bid from John Laing Infrastructure Fund for its investment portfolio.
JLIF has told investors it wouldn’t back off following the rejection, and that it was “disappointed” Balfour had “chosen not to engage in constructive discussions” but would “continue to evaluate all other options for unlocking the portfolio”.
