Ballymore is cutting 50 jobs – more than 10% of its workforce.
The residential and commercial developer’s move is part of a management shake-up.
Bellway, Persimmon, Crest Nicholson and Countryside Properties are also known to be in the process of making redundancies.
Bellway, rose 33p to 410.75p and Bovis Homes 24.5p at 316.5p. But Persimmon fell 11p to 229p ahead of its update scheduled for next week.
