Ballymore promotes Cashman to operations director

Ballymore has appointed Joe Cashman as operations director, a newly created role in the business.

Cashman has more than 20 years of project delivery experience. Most recently, he held the role of contracts director at Ballymore where he oversaw live projects and the pre-construction of projects including Bishopsgate Goodsyard, E1, Cuba Street, E14, and Thames Road Quarter, E16.

Before 2022, he was a project director at Ballymore and oversaw the delivery of Ballymore’s largest project to date, Royal Wharf. This comprised 3,385 homes, a new high street and side streets, a new school, GP surgery, pier, pub and community centre.

As operations director, Cashman will be responsible for the delivery of all Ballymore projects from the pre-construction stage through to handover. He will also be responsible for the efficient running of the wider group.

John Mulryan, group managing director of Ballymore, said: “Joe has an immense amount of delivery experience which will bring great value to our business. We have a very healthy development pipeline to work through and this new role will help us place even greater focus on the effective delivery of our projects. I look forward to working with Joe more closely.”
