The Bank of England has held the official interest rate at 0.5%.
It announced today that rates would remain at the record low for the 20th consecutive month.
The Bank also decided not to pump any more money into the economy through quantitative easing.
Latest figures on the economy showed gross domestic product grew at a faster-than-expected 0.8% in the third quarter.
