Barratt West London has unveiled its £65m redevelopment of the former British Gas site in Vincent Street, SW1. The scheme will include 204 flats of which 49 will be social housing. Barratt, whose results are out next week (see Finance), won consent for the 17,000m2 (182,992 sq ft) project earlier this year and appointed Assael Architecture to draw up plans. Director John Assael said: “This is an opportunity to work in partnership to achieve sustainable regeneration of redundant land.”
