The billionaire Barclay brothers may have found a buyer for the Ritz Hotel.
The twins are reviewing interest from Jeddah-based Sidra Capital, which represents wealthy Saudi Arabian families.
The process to sell the hotel has been under way for several weeks, with a handful of interested parties. But some of those potential offers fell too far short of the £750m price tag put on the iconic hotel by the brothers.
The brothers bought the hotel in 1995 for £75m and have spent millions of pounds refurbishing and restoring it.
