Barclays has completed its 80,000 sq ft deal at Carlyle Group’s 4 Piccadilly Place , in one of the largest central Manchester office lettings in recent years.
The bank is taking a 15-year lease, paying between £25 and £27 per sq ft, to consolidate call centre staff from a number of offices in the city.
Also expected to complete this month in the city is Auto Trader’s 50,000 sq ft deal at Ask Development’s 1 First Street .
CBRE acted for Barclays, while Savills and GVA advise Carlyle.
