Barnard Marcus sale raises £27.3m

Barnard Marcus raised £27.3m with a success rate of 67% at its latest sale on 10 April.

Some 134 lots were sold – 103 in the room and 30 prior to the auction – out of the 201-lot total.

A three-floor commercial building in Kingston-Upon-Thames, Surrey, with potential to be converted into six flats, sold for £775,000.

A second-floor flat in Kensington, W14, generating £34,200 pa, sold for £680,000, while an unmodernised flat in Battersea, SW11, sold by Wandsworth Council, changed hands for £660,000.

A terraced building in Surbiton, Surrey, with a barber shop on the ground floor and maisonette above, sold for £640,000.

The sale was held at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2.
