Barratt and Hyde approved for Harrow View East phase 2

Barratt London and the Hyde Group joint venture Harrow View has been given the green light for a further 350 homes at the Kodak factory redevelopment in Harrow, north-west London.

The second phase of Harrow View East will see 350 homes, 40% of which will be affordable, alongside new community and leisure facilities over 14,500 sq ft and extension to the approved landscaped green space.

It follows the approval of 460 new homes in phase one, early last year. This brings the total number of homes approved to 810.

Barratt and Hyde bought a chunk of the 30-acre former industrial complex in early 2017, with outline consent for new homes, work and community space. Future phases are expected to deliver more new homes, offices, retail and later-living accommodation.

Carter Jonas advised the partners on the planning application. Architect Pollard Thomas Edwards designed the scheme.
