Barratt London gets planning for £377m east London resi scheme
Barratt London has received planning permission from London Borough of Newham for the redevelopment of Crown Wharf, E16, into a £377m GDV scheme.
The approved scheme will provide 871 homes in Canning Town across seven buildings ranging from eight to 30 storeys.
The 1.5ha site is in the Royal Docks and Beckton Riverside Opportunity Area.

Of the 871 homes, 241 will be provided as affordable housing, comprising 88 London affordable rent units and 153 shared-ownership units, with the remaining 630 homes delivered as private for sale.
Barratt’s plans also include 28,000 sq ft of employment space, alongside communal amenity areas, car parking and cycle parking.
