Bass Leisure to operate bowling alley at £30m Atlantic Wharf development, Cardiff Bay

Bass Leisure has signed up as the operator of a bowling alley at the 18,580 sq m (200,000 sq ft) £30m Atlantic Wharf leisure complex on Cardiff Bay. The Richardson brothers are developing the complex in association with landowner Tarmac.

The 3,251sq m (35,000sq ft) scheme – to be known as the Hollywood Bowl – will also incorporate a bar and electronic games zone.

Atlantic Wharf, which is due to open in the summer of 1997, will also provide a 14-screen cinema operated by UCI.
