Bath Spa university has agreed to buy a new student accommodation scheme from Berkeley Homes upon completion.
The scheme, located opposite Green Park, comprises 461 student homes alongside a new café and management suite.
Berkeley Group acquired the land for development at the end of 2013, the project is expected to be completed in summer 2016.
Andrew Saunders-Davies, chairman of Berkeley Homes (Oxford and Chiltern), said: “The construction of Green Park House is well under way and we are delighted to have agreed the sale of the building to Bath Spa university. Once completed, the development will provide very high quality, purpose-built, managed student accommodation in a sustainable location in the city centre.”
