Developers are planning a settlement on a site earmarked by the government for one of its 10 eco-towns.
Gleeson Homes, Banks Developments, Hallam Land Management and Redrow Homes’ Curborough scheme will include 5,000 homes on 700 acres of land at a disused airfield at Fradley, on the outskirts of Lichfield,
Development consultancy RPS said the scheme predates the eco-town initiative on the same site.
