The BBC is on the cusp of signing a deal to sell Caversham Park in Reading to Beechcroft.
A brochure that briefly appeared on the Beechcroft website this week promised flats in the 93-acre site and Grade II-listed stately home from autumn next year if planning permission can be obtained. The brochure was swiftly taken down.
The Victorian estate had been the home of the BBC’s Monitoring Service.
