BBC Worldwide has instructed Cushman & Wakefield to conduct a study of alternative locations for an HQ ahead of a lease break in 2013-14 .
The broadcaster is examining options to leave its 200,000 sq ft 201 Wood Lane, W12, home of almost 66 years in favour of a 125,000 sq ft HQ .
C&W said options for premises would be centred around the West End and the M25, between the A3 and A40.
Mark Denford, partner in C&W’s Thames Valley team, said: “We will look at rents and availability for BBC Worldwide, which has a rolling break in its lease. It is part of a regular study so it can be aware of all of its options.”
