Black Country Properties (BCP) has bought a 3.08ha (7.6 acre) site adjacent to Newport Retail Park, Gwent for £4.5m from the Johnsey Estate.
BCP is due to exchange contracts this afternoon with The Car Group. The occupier plans to develop a 1,063 sq m (11,442 sq ft) car show room with external parking.
The Car Group has signed a 25 FRI lease but BCP director, Tim Baker refused to disclose further terms.
