Architect Nicholas Terry has died of cancer aged 61.
He became chairman of BDP and was involved in the rebuilding and refurbishment of the Royal Opera House, in Covent Garden, in collaboration with Dixon Jones. Another key project for which he was responsible was the Cribbs Causeway shopping centre in Bristol.
He was also involved in the Lottery-funded upgrading of the Albert Hall.
