Beatles HQ sold at 3.8% yield

Kier Group has sold the iconic former Beatles HQ on Savile Row to a private investor for close to £32m.

The £31.9m sale of 3 Savile Row, W1, reflects a 3.8% yield based on a pre-let to US retailer Abercrombie & Fitch.

The fashion brand will open its first Abercrombie Kids store in the UK in the building next year, after a 15,000 sq ft refurbishment is completed.

The building was headquarters to the Beatles’ Apple Records and its roof was the venue of their final gig in 1969.

Kier bought the building in 2007 for £17m from Peter Kershaw, founder of Executive Offices Group.
