Beavertown brewery to open first bar

Beavertown-THUMBBeavertown, the craft beer brewery owned by Logan Plant, son of Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant, is to make a foray into London’s bar scene.

The company has instructed Colliers International to secure a venue following the success of its Haggerston restaurant, Dukes Brew & Que.

The bar will specialise in rare beers and house-crafted cocktails, wines and food.

The search will take in sites in east and south London of around 4,000 sq ft and smaller sites for a simplified version of the venue.

Beavertown claims to be the UK’s fastest growing drinks brand, and has gone from brewing 100,000 litres in 2014 to producing an estimated 3.5m litres in 2016. It exports to 22 countries.
