Housebuilder Beazer Group has bought 127.5ha (315 acres) of prime residential land on the Hampshire/Surrey borders with planning consent for 1,700 new homes.
The site, which borders the M3 at Fleet, is one of the largest single areas of land with planning consent for new homes in south east England. The average plot cost toincome ratio across the entire development for speculative housing is below 30% at current prices.
